Student Sustainability Innovation Challenge and Green Startup Incubation
Faculty of Engineering at Sriracha , Sriracha Campus
Details
The Student Sustainability Challenge encouraged students to propose innovations addressing waste reduction, energy efficiency, and carbon mitigation. Selected teams received seed funding and development space within the campus.
Faculty mentors from various disciplines provided business, engineering, and environmental impact guidance. Pilot projects included smart recycling stations and mobile apps tracking student carbon footprints, which were deployed in real campus settings.
Over 20 prototypes emerged, several of which evolved into green startups. The initiative thus contributed directly to SDG 12 and SDG 13, demonstrating the value of student-driven innovation.
