Details

This project developed a “Digital Twin” system of campus infrastructure, creating 3D models linked with IoT sensor data from buildings, roads, and utilities for real-time monitoring of energy, water, and mobility.

Digital twins enabled scenario simulations, such as renewable energy integration and building efficiency retrofits, providing precise decision support for administrators and reducing investment risks.

By 2024, campus-wide energy use dropped 14%, carbon fell 2,200 tCO2e, and parking and mobility management improved significantly. The project aligns with SDG 9, SDG 11, and SDG 13, fulfilling 2024 indicators 34 and 96.
